Pascal Audant
CEO Unimasoft ; CTO Unimasoft

Pascal Audant, CEO - CTOAs Unimasoft’s President, Pascal Audant, holds a solid experience in managing small to medium-sized software firms and in TI project management. Pascal is responsible of business strategies, programming management and for all the functioning aspects of the enterprise. Pascal is the winner of the Young Entrepreneur Reward (2009) from the Haitian Chamber of Commerce (JCCH).

After having completed his studies at École Polytechnique of Montreal, Pascal has acquired experience by founding Orbitek Software, an innovation company in multimedia and video games. As a Computer Science teacher at François-Xavier Garneau Cegep, Pascal has developed a forerunner reputation due to his innovation ideas.

Lionel Audant
Ph. D., Vice-President Research

Lionel Audant, Ph.D. - VP RechercheAs Vice-President of research, Lionel is the motor force behind the concepts, the theories and the founding of Unimasoft. Responsible for elaborating theories towards the conversion of text into images and the development of the future Unimasoft software products, Lionel contributes widely with his visionary powers to mobilize the political, human and financial resources of the firm.

Lionel’s wide experience integrates philosophy and administration. As project director collaborating with organisms such as CECI, FAES (World Bank) and the Bureau for Commercialization Help (Haïti), Lionel Audant is known as an executive committed and efficient. While teaching philosophy at François-Xavier Garneau Cegep, he has also conceived and founded the Center for International Development. Lionel Audant detains a diploma in linguistics from the University of Paris V (Sorbonne), along with a diploma in Administration, a diploma in Post-Graduate Studies from Laval University and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Laval University.

Yawei Song
MBA, Vice-president Marketing (China)

Yawei Song, MBA, VP Marketing ChineAs Vice-President of Marketing for Unimasoft, Yawei Song brings a long experience of market research and administration in high technology industries to the firm. Responsible for marketing the software products and sourcing the animations in China, Yawei is the privileged antenna of Unima on the Chinese market.

Before joining Unimasoft, Yawei Song has occupied executive positions in companies such as Jinzhou Yuandu Group, Dalian Post and Telecommunications Co. and Motorola China. Known for his capacities of organization, his focus towards innovation, his negotiation facilities and his experience on high technology markets, he possesses a wide net of contacts. Yawei detains a diploma in Automated Control Engineering of Dalian University of Technology and a MBA from Northeast University of Finance and Economics.

Éric Dofonsou
Directeur de Développement

Éric Dofonsu, Directeur de DévelopementEn tant que Directeur de développement d’Unima Logiciel, M. Éric Dofonsou possède plus d’une douzaine d’années d’expérience en développement de projet informatique. Actuellement, il chapeaute le design et le développement des produits d'Unima Logiciel.

Après avoir terminé ses études en génie informatique à l'Université Laval, M. Dofonsou a occupé un poste à titre de développeur de logiciel chez Speedware. Depuis, il a toujours œuvré à la fine pointe de la technologie (java, .Net, webservice, etc.) Grâce à sa rigueur, son sens de la méthode, ses qualités rationnelles et sa rapidité d’exécution, il a vite occupé des postes de responsabilités (chef d'équipe et architecte), et ce, dans différents secteurs (Santé, Analyse de données, Gestion des normes, etc.) M. Dofonsou s'est joint à Unima Logiciel en 2007 à titre d'architecte, où il a apporté une contribution remarquable au développement d’USlic.

Jean-Philippe Léveillé
Director of Quality Control

Jean-Pilippe Léveillé, Directeur QualitéAs the Director of Quality Control for the high technology products, Jean-Philippe supervises the designs in order to insure their conformity to the qualification policies of the firm, in addition to building and directing a postproduction unit for quality control, Jean-Philippe is also in charge of the IT infrastructure, as well as the analysis and development of the tools necessary to design and produce the software material for the firm

Holding a diploma in Computing Mathematics from the University of Sherbrooke (2003), Jean-Philippe has first worked as a programmer in developing the B2B and B2C solutions in companies offering electronic commercial services. He has joined Unimasoft a first time in 2005 as a programmer and data base master responsible for the internal infrastructure of development. Once more joining Unimasoft, he brings numerous competences in design, analyses and Web solutions development, infrastructure development, data base, and artificial intelligence in video games.

Steve Bourgoin
Director Research and Development

Steve Bourgouin, Directeur R&DAs Director of R & D, Steve bridges philosophical theories and technological solutions in addition to heading the various partnerships between the associated universities and the firm. Pragmatic collaborator of the Vice-President Research, he contributes to the technological orientation of the firm and participates to the elaboration of practical solutions for the conversion of text towards animation.

Combining diplomas in Computer Science from the University of Sherbrooke (2003) and Video Game Design from the Centre N.A.D. (1997), Steve has worked as a programmer in various multimedia fields. Be it video games (Unlikely Games), orthopedic computer assisted surgery (Orthosoft) or embedded systems (Bluestreak TEchnology Inc.), he has shown as much creativity as efficiency. After a first stay in the Unimasoft family from 2004 to 2006 when he has acquired a valuable experience in the narrow field of text to animation transfer, the firm now benefits entirely from his wide range of competences.

Zhen Li
Director Chinese Didactics

Zhen Li, Directeur DidactiqueMr. Li has worked at the Institute of Education in China during more than 12 years before joining Unimasoft. He was responsible for both the Training Department and the Research Department. While forming Chinese teachers, Mr. Li was covering various aspects : pronunciation, oral presentation, grammar, British and American literature, general and specialized reading techniques, etc. Furthermore, Mr. Li has also participated in writing reference manuals for teachers.

Being a researcher and specialist, he masters the didactical and psychological aspects of teaching. In addition, Mr. Li has been an invited teacher in Australia in the course of his research.
